The University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) represented by Dr. Perfecto A. Alibin, SUC President IV, and the First Congressional District of Davao Oriental headed by Congressman Nelson “Boy” Dayanghirang signed  a Memorandum of Agreement on e-learning. This was held on February 6 at the Baganga Municipal Gymn and was witnessed by hundreds of residents on the occasion of the 61st Founding Anniversary of Baganga National High School. Through the newly-sealed partnership, USEP will bring to the easternmost part of the country the Master of Education in Instructional Leadership (MEIL) Program through a blended mode of learning. Students shall have access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) anytime, anywhere, and shall see their professors in person once a month at Baganga National High School for the “face-to-face sessions”.

The students can enroll 12 units per term; since there are three (3) terms in one school-year, the students will complete the academic requirements in one year. The students, shall then, write their thesis later. Since the professors are the ones who shall come to venue, the students shall save their time and money to earn a graduate course.

The program will not only bring graduate education at the doorstep of the clientele utilizing the latest technology, but the program will also equip the students with the necessary credentials to avail of  professional and career advancement.

Guided by its vision to become a premier university in the ASEAN Region, USEP through its MEIL Program opened avenues to serve the Mindanaoans with their educational needs and at the same time opened doors for international relationships.
