The Program provides teachers and instructional leaders with an advanced course study at the Masteral level that aims to increase their knowledge & skills in the management, organization & content of a progressive curriculum delivered in a manner that improves student outcomes.

It consists of three major areas that capture the Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM) approach and the current teaching and teaching paradigm in the University of Southeastern Philippines – College of Education. These are:

• Foundational Knowledge

This domain of knowledge of education is a basic understanding of education; its basic aims and its relation to development and the major skills required to manage education effectively.

• Excellence in Teaching and Learning

This constitutes the major subjects – the major theme of the award which consists of the body of knowledge & skills required to design and manage teaching and Learning approach developed by BEAM and validated in schools across Regions XI, XII and ARMM.

• A Supportive Environment

This is a theme that addresses the organizational issues of the school that are relevant to developing & maintaining a supportive environment for teaching and learning.
